Most of you would have seen the unflattering balloon version of Donald Trump, wannabe dictator of the United States. They have popped up all over the world - at least in countries where they don't deport you to an El Salvadorean prison.
So, I thought, why not feature the same on the cover of a poetry book?
I don't care what your politics are, whether you consider yourself a "conservative" or a "liberal" or something in-between. Trump has nothing to do with politics as you think you know it. He is a bully, a coward, a narcissist, a sexual abuser, a liar and a moron. Not my opinion - all documented FACTS! And that's all he is.
There is only one way to deal with a bully - humiliate him, belittle him, refuse him, negate him any way you can. Otherwise he just keeps coming back, like herpes.
I wrote this at the start of his first term but too many people drank the Kool-Aid and now the fat, orange menace is back. Now I'm living in Canada, I have my eye on Pierre Poilievre (private chef and driver Poilievre. Man of the people, my ass!) and Danielle Smith (not her real name, and evidently likes really expensive rugs). Maybe they need their own caricatures or their own book. What do you think?
