Judging a book by its cover

In Alberta, a writer named Roy
found a book that he thought he'd enjoy;
he read all the words,
thought they were absurd,
and now Roy from Alberta, annoyed!

It happens to all of us. We're browsing a pile of books when a striking cover peaks our interest. It might be striking artwork, an edgy title, a good looking man or woman. Whatever the hook, it works and we end up buying the book.

When we get home and open the book, one of two things happen: it is either even better than we anticipated or it is a pile of dog doodle.

Unfortunately, more often than not, dog doodle is the outcome.

It seems we are all victims to Albert Einstein's warning, "... insanity is repeating the same thing over and over and expecting a different result."
