DARK TALES is 13 stories written in the style of GRIMMS FAIRYTALES or AESOP'S FABLES. All 3 versions are illustrated in black-and-white, and the stories cover several cultures and geographies. While the stories focus on "moral stories" or "morality tales" there are no religious dictates or undertones in any of the tales.

Depending on the reading age of your children, my recommendation is that the book is most suitable for ages 8 - 15, and is designed to be read to your kids, or, if you like flip the script, to be read to YOU by your kids.

Personally, I LOVE the Paperback version. It is a LARGE soft cover with a good-sized font, and is perfect for reading in bed or on a comfy sofa.
